Helmrick’s Landscaping & Handyman Services LLC. offers a five step program that uses the highest quality fertilizers available that are applied at the proper application rate.

• Spring Application: Consists of a balanced fertilizer, pre-emergent crabgrass control and weather permitting a broadleaf control. (Late March/April)

  This application will not only provide the needed nutrients for your lawn it will also ward off any crabgrass seeds trying to sprout up in spring. This application is necessary to ensure a crabgrass free lawn.
  

• Early Summer Application: Consists of a balanced fertilizer and broadleaf weed control. (Late May/June)

  This application will take care of any weeds that did germinate as well as provide the lawn with a balanced fertilizer feeding

• Summer Application: Consists of a slow release, balanced fertilizer (weed control, insecticide as needed). (Early July/ August)

  This application keeps the lawn strong through the warmer periods of summer. Any weeds that may have survived the first round of weed control will also be taken care of during this visit.
  

• Late Summer: Consists of a balanced fertilizer and broadleaf weed control. (Late August/ Mid September)

  This application is the same as the second application and controls any remaining weeds to avoid further seed spreading.
  

• Fall Application: Consists of a complete seasonal fertilizer. (Mid October/ Mid November)

  This is the most important fertilization. It encourages strong root development in fall to ensure a quick green up in spring.
